Santa Fe Christian Game
The most recent game that the Mustangs have played was against Santa Fe Christian. As I am happy to report we won, we creamed them actually. The score was Mustangs 66 and Eagles 30. Man, did it feel good to cream them, Paige can relate to that! :) We all played as a team and everybody got points and it was a fun game to watch/be in. In other news, Harper had a wonderful game with 18 points (can you say high scorer of the game?), 7 rebounds, 3 steals, and two blocked shots. She also went 2 for 4 from the free throw line. I, Blair, had a, how shall I say this... selfless game... hahah. I had 4 points, 5 assists, and 9 rebounds. Not bad, I guess, at least that is what mom keeps telling me. Okay so for the funny and surprising story of the game, Christine Jacobson's NBA three pointer comes to mind. With only a couple of seconds left in the first half, Christine had the ball and we were all yelling for her to shoot, so she did, and SWISH! haha it was great! :) she told me after that she thought she was going to airball it. haha. Some more good news is that it looks like we, the Mustangs, are out of our 5 game losing slump, but we will have to see.

Brawley Game
This game, in case none of you are aware, is two and a half hours away, in the desert. Actually, everyone who knows our father knows that it was actually a two hour drive! haha. Yes, that part not so great but the miracle was that Harper didn't have to pee! Not once! Well, at least until we got to a 7-11 2 minutes away from the school. At least she's making progress. So anyways, back to the game. So we get to the gym and the coach of the other team is nice and everything and everyone's butts hurt, you know, the usual. So we start to warm up and I (Blair) am hacking up a lung, thanks dad, he gave me the sickness. Ok, Harper is telling me that I am giving too many details so I will just skip to the game, sheesh. We both had good games. Harper had 13 points, 10 rebounds, 1 steal, and she went 3 for 3 from the free throw line, which is great for a Crickmore. :) I had 7 points, 6 rebounds, 3 steals, 1 blocked shot, and lets just say I didn't do as good as Harper at the free throw line! haha. The funny story of the game is that Harper was trying to save a ball so she jumped to hit it and she fell into the bleachers. Luckily, she fell into mom and our best friend, Megan's, dad who proceeded to tell her "Go get 'em!" and the good thing was that she totally saved the ball and the girl who grabbed the ball was fouled and made her free throws. However, after all that effort, we still couldn't pull out the win (SDA 42 and Brawley 50) so the Mustangs continue 9 and 9. I guess you could say we are in a slump.
Well, we will write again on Wednesday/Thursday (it depends on how tired I am after the game!)
*Oh and just something that mom thinks is funny: I (Blair) am leading the team in fouls. The big five oh (50)!

Intro
Ok, so pretty much this blog is for family and friends to see what our high school basketball games were like. If you weren't there we will give you some stats or exciting moments for us (Harper and Blair). Oh and by the way, props to our dad for giving us the "creative" title of the blog. We will start updating the blog right now, as that is the freshest game in our minds since the creation of this blog. Now Maren, Hayley, Reid, and Paige don't have to text mom to find out how our games went because we know that sometimes her texts are hard to decipher. hahah. Just kidding Mom!
